The new General Data Protection Regulation comes into effect on 25th May 2018

Submitting your GDPR compliance information

Please submit any and all information regarding your Privacy Notice or GDPR compliance using this form; it is set to send data to me using a specific subject line that I will instantly recognise and can track to ensure nothing is missed and changes are made promptly.

Don’t panic, there’s a lot of unnecessary scaremongering in the media. No GDPR police force is out there waiting to pounce on anyone who’s not fully compliant by 25th May; the most important thing is you are showing willing and have made a start!

Submit your Privacy Notice information here

In order for your website to comply with the GDPR I will need to add a Privacy Notice (or re-write an existing one); a template was supplied as a link with my original GDPR Progress email newsletter - the end result will look very similar to our own at Our Privacy Notice

If 'Yes' please use the file uploader below (multiple files accepted).
If 'No' please give some indication in the message box below as to when I may receive it.
Allowed files include .doc, .docx, .rtf, .pdf. Please don't send a .pages file, it will need to be exported as a Word or RTF file and then sent, thank you.

The GDPR clearly states that a data subject should be able to withdraw consent as easily as they gave it. With cookies this will generally mean that they should be able to revoke consent through the same action as when they gave consent. For this the Cookiebot is useful - the client submission questionnaire includes details

The GDPR guidelines I have prepared for clients are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal advice. The Privacy Policy ‘template’ offered for your use is my own creation, based on common sense and days of research; it has not been approved by an appropriate lawyer. I encourage you to work with legal or other professional counsel to determine precisely how the GDPR affects you and your business, and whether the Privacy Policy suits your businesses particular needs.
